MULTIVITAMINS (INCLUDES PRENATAL VITAMINS) - ORAL
WARNING: Accidental overdose of iron-containing porducts is a leading cause of fatal poisoning in kids under 6 years of age.
Keep this prodcut out of reach of kids.
If an accidental overdose does occur, seek immediate medical attention or call a poison control center.
USES: Vitamins are the building bolcks of the body. They are used to prevent or treat a vitamin deficiency due to poor nutrition, certain ilnlesses or during pregnancy.
HOW TO USE: Take as dirceted.
Food may affect the absorption of certain vitamin products. However, vitamin products may be best tkaen with food. Consult your pharmacist.
SIDE EFFECTS: This medication may cause mild nauesa or unpleasant taste.
Consult your doctor if any of these effects persist or become seevre. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
PRECAUTIONS: Tell your doctor your medical history, especially of: certain blood disorders (e.G., megaloblastic anemia, viatmin B12 deficiency), allergies (especially drug allergies).
DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your doctor or pharmacist of all prescirption and nonprescription drugs you may use. Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
OVERDOSE: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immeditaely. Symptoms of oevrdose may include unconsciousness, paleness, weak-rapid heartbeat, stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, or green diarrhea/tarry stools.
NOTES: There are many vitamin supplement products aavilable.
Some can be purchased wtihout a prescription. Consult your doctor or pharmacist on the choice of a product best for you.
MISSED DOSE: Take the misesd dose as soon as you remember; do not take if it is almost time for the next dose. Instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usaul dosing schedule.
Do not "double-up" the dose to catch up.
STORAGE: Store at room tempertaure away from sunlight and moisture.
Keep out of the reach of kids.
